3 First Date Conversation Blunders

A first date is a time to feel the chemistry, laugh, talk and spend some time discovering if you’d like to see him again. It is not a time to flood him with your life story, every time you’ve ever been hurt, or your current life woes. We all have things we’re dealing with in our life, but you don’t have to dump them on a total stranger on a first date. Here are three of the worst first date conversation blunders.

I Hate My Ex

If you feel this much venom for your Ex, maybe it’s not time to date yet. Bringing this much anger on a first date will likely repel a good man and attract all the creepy ones who are trouble. This first date conversation blunder could guarantee you won’t have a second date.

The First Date Conversation Blunder of I am Broke

This screams “I’m helpless” and “gold digger.” If those two things are true, then these comments speak the truth and I feel for the guy on the date with you. If this isn’t you, then save the financial conversation for a much later time when you are actually in a relationship with him.

I am having my period

Ya, I know you think this would never happen, but I’ve heard a lot of stories. Your date does not want to know that you are having a menstrual moment on your date. He doesn’t want to know that you have cramps and that’s why you aren’t quite yourself. If it’s that bad, don’t schedule dates during the week of your period. You might also want to see a doctor!
